Christians, this is what many people think of you, your God, and your Bible. How do you respond?
Clearly, I disagree with Mr. Condell's position, but I truly think it worthwhile to listen to, understand, and interact with such views.
I'd be interested in any of your input, so drop me a comment.

Wow. And so we continue to pray for the Holy Spirit to work in his life. We both know he cannot believe or even have the desire to believe without the initiation of God's Spirit and the Father's choosing. Theology aside....wow....I'm sorry for him. Part of me is mad and just wants to walk away and leave him to his pit. Part of me hurts for the nations and individuals of the world who reject the Christ. We've read the end of the Book; we know what happens to them.
Thanks for posting.
Condell is worth listening to, if for no other reason than understanding what others think (hostilely) about us.
I definitely understand the range of emotions towards him. I share similar ideas.
How would you reach out to someone like this? If they hate your God and your Bible, what do you do?

Well, there's always the "lifestyle witness." Show them something different than what the world offers. Continue to pray the HS opens up their hearts. Don't be preachy, just live it. Be a real friend. Pick up an interest in their hobbies or sports. I don't know...does that help?
I think I would give him one thing he thinks is true and that is: he's right we don't have any proof that can stand up in court. The fortunate thing is that those of us who believe don't need that kind of proof. We have the kind of proof that comes from feeling God work in our lives. We should definitely pray that the Holy Spirit works in his life and that he would open his heart. It breaks my heart to hear that someone would reject God outright without really having the chance to experience Him or know His mercy.
